The Party is Over

The party's over
The ghouls are all gone
Old Jack O'Lantern
Has sung his swan song.

With terrors unmentioned
And mysteries undelved
Books of dark things
Till next time are shelved.

Morning has broken
A new day is here
A better Halloween
Awaits us next year!
